How To Submit An RFP

How to Submit an RFP (BrokersBloc RFP Challenge)

Follow these quick steps to submit an RFP and track it through carriers to your returned quote.

  1. Open your welcome email

Click “Update your password.” You’ll be taken to a page hosted on Render — that’s expected.

Note: Render is our hosting platform. It’s normal that this isn’t the main BrokersBloc domain.

  2. Create your password

Enter a new password (a manager like LastPass works great). After saving, you’ll be redirected to the BrokersBloc Quote Tracker Dashboard.

  3. Log in

Use your email and the new password you just set to access your dashboard.

  4. Start a new RFP

If this is your first time, you may see “No RFPs found.” Click Submit New RFP to open the submission form.

  5. Complete the form

    • Email: Your account email
    • Password: The password you just created (if the form asks)
    • Group Name (e.g., “Ray-Ban”)
    • # of Lives (e.g., 30)
    • Effective/Start Date (e.g., 11/1/2025)
    • SIC Code (if available)
    • Attachments: Upload your census (required) and any renewal/claims docs (optional). Multiple files allowed.
  6. Submit

Click Submit on the form. Your files will upload and your RFP will be created.

  7. If you see an Airtable error

If a message like “Airtable refused to connect” appears, that’s okay.

Quick fix: Use the top navigation to go back to Quote Tracker → Dashboard and refresh.

  8. Track your RFP in real time

You’ll see your new record with the group name, submission time, and a 24‑hour target countdown.

    Census Received
    Engaging Carriers
    Preparing Quote
    Quote Returned

  9. Watch your email notifications

We’ll email you confirmations and status updates as your RFP moves through each stage.

  10. Come back anytime

Return to the Quote Tracker Dashboard to check progress or submit more RFPs.

Pro tips:

  • Name files clearly (e.g., Acme_Census_2025-11-01.xlsx).
  • If something looks off, refresh the dashboard first.
  • Keep census and renewal docs in separate files for quicker processing.
